Celina launched her career at the early age of 3 years with her mother, who was a very well-known Mariachi singer in Mexico. Her favorite singers a the time were Lola Beltran and Celia Cruz, whose tunes were always in the repertoire of the mother-daughter duo.

At 5, Celina was a hit at every school talent show and by the time she was 15, she was already singing with local bands.

In 1996, she landed a contract in Hollywood and by 1998, she had recorded her first album, Maria Molina, as a tribute to her mother. Celina sang at various racetracks (horseracing is another one of her passions) which attracted a lot of publicity from the L.A. Times and national coverage from ESPN.

Hollywood, though glamorous, was not the lifestyle she wanted, so Celina returned to Tucson to spend more time with her two sons.

In November of 1999, Celina met Lia Allen, owner and choreographer of WNZ Showtime. They became friends and since then Celina has been singing and performing for the company.

When she performed a tributes to the popular artists Selena and Gloria Estefan at the Viva Arizona show, Celina received rave reviews in local publications. One stated, "All of the singers were very fine and well-suited to their repertoire, but Celina proved most outstanding, displaying vocal power, dexterity and showmanship in a broad range of material."
